This has been a good week for getting materials transported around the course due to frost, the 12th and 13th bunkers have benefited from this as some vital shaping work has been able to take place, see pictures attached.
The practise bunker outside the front of the clubhouse has been dug out, had a sump installed to help with drainage, re shaped and re sanded and is now ready to be turfed.
The 9th medal tee has now had the steps installed and Spencer and his staff are now working on the final finishing and tidying of the area, see pictures attached.
Marker Posts – Although not visible to members on the course, work has started on refurbishing all the marker posts on the woodland Course. This involves drying out, smoothing out the rough edges and repainting – the cold weather this week has been perfect for this task!
Traffic Control – Areas to the front of 3rd and 9th greens on Village roped off to direct traffic away from wet/muddy areas. On the Woodland front of 2nd and 8th greens have also been roped off. This type of control will continue through to spring where required.
