Frost & Temporary Greens - 01/02/2007

Why is frost a problem on the greens? Why are the committee and green keepers putting us on temporary greens? These are recent questions being asked by the membership.

Craig Earnshaw, Oak Park's Course Manager, has put together an explanation of the problems with frost and the reason for the decision to close greens during the winter.
